An Accredited Entity (AE) to the Green Climate Fund (GCF) acts as a country’s programme manager of the fund (grant).

The AE is directly accountable to the GCF Board for the overall management of projects, including financial, monitoring and reporting aspects of project activities.

There are two types of AE’s; Direct Access Entity and International Access Entity​.

The Cook Islands National (NIEs) is the Ministry of Finance and Economic Management (MFEM).
